New Conspiracy Theory Claims Morgan Freeman Is Actually Jimi Hendrix

Legendary guitar god Jimi Hendrix died on September 18th, 1970. …Or did he?

A new conspiracy theory is making the rounds that Hendrix survives to this day – and is actually legendary actor Morgan Freeman.

The two do share a certain facial resemblance. And Freeman first became famous on the PBS kid’s show The Electric Company, which premiered in 1971 – just one year after Hendrix’s alleged death.

However, like most conspiracy theories, this one is too good to be true. Snopes has already debunked it, pointing out that Freeman’s acting career began in 1964, while Hendrix’s body was examined post-mortem by a local coroner.
