Can you prove that Peter Pan is fictitious? can you prove that Cinderella is fictitious? can you prove that snow White is fictitious? books that tell fantastic stories of impossible events which, with all probability, never happened, are all fictitious, no proof is required.
Religion has many forms and depending on where in the world you are it is believed in a different manner. Even the same religion goes through evolutions and differences depending on where in the world you happen to be
Christianity Is a religion that has gone through evolution, and is a religion itself that does not believe evolution.
What do I mean by this?
Well, look at religion, specifically the Christian religion, a couple of hundred years ago it would’ve been normal to prosecute a woman for cheating on their husband, murder would have been common practice in the name of the “lord”. People were stoned to death and the belief that witches were real became a real part of the religion early on.
King James who of course wrote the king James Bible also wrote a book called demonology. Demonology was a book that described witches, it described what they were and where to find them, what to look for when you are keeping your eye out for a witch in your community. and of course people believed it just like they believed the king James Bible.
Was any of it true? of course not! demonology is not a religion because witches are easily disproven. But nevertheless fear drove people to make rash decisions a little like what we see you today.
The tale of witches is now only seen in fantasy stories and we all acknowledge the fact that none of it has basis in reality, and what I’m here to tell you is that the Bible is the same.
I have a fond interest in science & discovery, specifically the unknown facts and the hidden secrets that are kept from the public. This is why -and if you have come to this article through Facebook you will note, that a lot of the facts and information I share is based on unknown facts particularly about Nikola Tesla. But also based on just general unknown knowledge.
If you are religious firstly I’d like to apologise, not for my behaviour, but for your deceit, and not just specifically the deceit that you are unknowingly pushing onto the world by virtue of the fact you are involved in a religion that has deceived you. but for the fact that you have undergone the belief, i believe through fear. Fear of death to put it simply, it’s comforting to know that after you die somehow you live on, all religions have it. That is their tool to get you hooked, fear.
But let’s get back to the reason behind this article, it is however all about disproving religion using facts
Let’s start with some basic stuff, the earth is around 4.5 billion years old, yet Christianity claims only 6000 years. And okay maybe we got that wrong, possibly the science on this is off. But what about fossils?
Fossils
All around the world there are many fossils that date far into the past, so are we to believe that all of these fossils and all of those dates are incorrect even though proven by science or are these forms of religion wrong? Seems kind of silly when you think about doesn’t it?
Some of the oldest human remains ever unearthed are the Omo One bones found in Ethiopia. For decades, their precise age has been debated, but a new study argues they’re around 233,000 years old.
Now the science is somewhat accurate but let’s estimate a possibility of fault at around 50% let’s say the age is only 116,000 that’s still 110,000 more years than claimed by the Bible.
Genomic sciences
A study, published in The American Journal of Human Genetics, compared genetic material from 99 modern-day Lebanese with what they could recover from 3,700-year-old burial remains from Sidon. Sidon was amajor Phoenician city of the ancient world, and its inhabitants can be properly called Canaanite. (Everyone who studies ancient Near Easter languages and cultures knows this; we’ve read the inscriptions. The only debate is whether the people at Ugarit, a bit farther north, are properly called Canaanites.) Based on these comparisons, the study concluded that (at least some of) the modern Lebanese appear to have Canaanite ancestry.
The science paper had said, “the Bible reports the destruction of the Canaanite cities and the annihilation of its people; if true, the Canaanites could not have directly contributed genetically to present-day populations”
We have to keep in mind this book was written along time ago and what they thought to be true isn’t possibly the truth as we get better technology, we move past the inaccuracies of our past. but in the process we understand the past more, and intern we understand ourselves more now.
I’d like to conclude that religion is a reaction to fear. When you are living in fear your capabilities to reason with the facts in front of you are very limited.
