Nikola Tesla believed that crystals were living entities and once wrote:
“In a crystal we have clear evidence of the existence of a formative life principle, and though we cannot understand the life of a crystal, it is nonetheless a living being.”
Nikola Tesla lived a life that was tragic and far from perfect, yet he has become a true hero to people all over the world. Born in Croatia in July of 1856, he pushed the limits of what was possible, everyday of his life until he passed, at the age of 86, in New York City. Nikola Tesla became an electrical engineer, an inventor and a brilliant scientist. He helped companies develop cutting edge technologies that propelled them ahead in ways few could imagine. He crafted machines and created contraptions that continue serving mankind to this day.
In May of 1899 until early 1900, Nikola lived in Colorado and worked feverishly in a laboratory where he was finally able to focus his energy on inventions of his own. It is there in Colorado where he made what he regarded as his most important discovery; terrestrial stationary waves. This discovery proved the Earth could be used as a conductor and made to resonate at a certain electrical frequency.
Nikola loved Quartz crystals and often referred to them in his studies and lectures. These crystals had an attraction that few were powerless against. Even today the Quartz Crystals powers, have scientists almost baffled. Tesla did many tests and experiments using crystals as they were a huge inspiration to him.
Nikola Tesla once powered 200 lamps, without wires, from a distance of 25 miles! He also created man-made lightning which produced flashes of light, measuring 135 feet. Nikola learned that when you resonate a quartz crystal, it creates a piezoelectric field and that field emanates, into the surrounding ether. Nikola used this information as inspiration to create healing machines and to help him better understand, the energy produced by the earth.
A famous quote Nikola Tesla wrote goes like this:
“If you want to find the secrets of the universe you must think in terms of Energy, Frequency, and Vibration.”
Quartz Crystals can still be used for many different reasons. Crystals can be attained in stores or boutiques, online and yes, you can still mine Quartz Crystals right out of the earth. The 2 most compelling places where high quality, clear crystals can be found in abundance, are Brazil in South America, and in the state of Arkansas, in the United States of America.
Arkansas has the highest quality Quartz Crystals in the world. The land there is infused with Diamonds, Turquoise, Silver, and those amazing Quartz Crystals which Nikola Tesla was so fond of. Many Quartz Crystal mines exist in Arkansas, however most, if not all of the mines use explosives and huge machines to extract the crystals, in an attempt to make more profit, destroying the earth and surrounding areas, to get to the prized quartz. These mines also like to use chemicals to clean the crystals, and these chemicals are destructive and poisonous to the earth.
One Crystal Mine that chooses not use any heavy machinery to dig for the crystals, is called The Board Camp Crystal Mine. Located in the center of the Quachita Mountain range in Mena Arkansas. Board Camp Crystal Mine has unearthed their prize crystals the old fashioned way, with their hands. The crystals are said to have more beauty and more “energy” when they are left in their natural state, so even the crystals being sold in their store are still covered in a little clay.
The Board Camp Crystal Mine refuses to destroy the earth with machines. They have a huge respect for the forests where the crystals reside, so no chemicals are ever used in their cleaning process that could harm the forest, plants or any animals that live in the area.
Although not the same as yoga or jogging for fitness, it is a wonderful experience mining for crystals and everyone should give it a try at least once in their life. Most people that train and learn to be miners go back many times, as it is a therapeutic and relaxing experience to dig in the soft forest ground for these beautiful, natural quartz crystals.
